Yep, I'll be hawking BMW bikes and gear. I have my 2015 BMW Motorrad notebook all sorted by style of bike, Enduro, Roadster, Scooter, Sport and Touring. I've been busy reading specs and details about the variety of BMW's available for 2015.
I think I have sufficient qualifications and experience to rock this gig!
This new gig is a far cry from being a Securities Lawyer! I've spent the last 20 years closing mergers and acquisitions, executing corporate public offerings and dealing with Securities and Exchange Commission regulations and compliance. I'm tired of doing that. I'm so ready to move on with a new career path and hope working at the International Motorcycle Shows will give me exposure and introductions that I can segway into yet another adventure.
I dream of riding to exotic places (and some not so exotic, lol) and sharing my rides with you through my blog. I'm really going to make every effort to make this happen!!!! Maybe we can call my ride adventures "Old Lady on a Bike." Hey, I'm open to suggestions. Come up with a catchy slogan for me :-)
Right now, I'm scheduled to work the Phoenix, AZ, Long Beach, CA, Cleveland, OH and Chicago, IL International Motorcycle Shows. Here is a link to the IMS schedule. Please come see me if you're attending the show. I'd love to spend some time talking motorcycles and adventures.
If you're going to Pinks on November 15, you might take a run up to Long Beach and visit with me at the IMS before getting your hotdog at midnight!
I'll update my blog next week and give you a peek of what I'll be doing.
Cheers for now,
Cletha
congratulations on the new job

Wow, that IS exciting news, and what a career change! I am sorry we won't be able to attend any of the shows on your list, since we are so far east, but will stay tuned to see if you add any east coast shows to your list! I have the same dream to chronicle our motorcycle trips on my blog, but I think I am just going to retire and do that. :D Good luck! Lynne (aka curvyroads.info)
